CINCINNATI (FOX19) – The Kroger Co. is joining the growing range of stores offering CBD products.
The Cincinnati-based supermarket string will start selling topical items like lotions, balms, oils and ointments in 17 states, The Detroit News reports.
Kentucky and Indiana are detailed on the list of 17 states where Kroger will actually sell it is new CBD items, Kroger’s Louisville Division Corporate Affairs Manager and Media Spokesperson Erin Grant confirmed.
“Like many stores, we have been offering our clients a highly-curated collection of topical products like creams, balms, natural oils and ointments being infused with hemp-derived CBD,” Erin Rolfes with Kroger’s Cincinnati unit said. “CBD is a naturally-occurring and non-intoxicating substance that has promising advantages and it is allowed within federal and state regulations.
